Wall Decor

Hi everyone!!

Today I´m posting a project which was in my mind since long for my daughter´s room..Like any other girl ..she wanted to have Pink walls. Before painting the whole wall with pink...i thought of adding some  fun colours to her wall ...to make her room more fresh.

I used these boxes for my project-

and I altered up to turn into this:

My Daughter with a big smile : )

First I prepared the design on a simple paper. I transformed this design on the cardboards taken from the boxes. Later I drew the shapes with some margin on the felt material and cut them neatly. Then I brought these cut felt material on the cardboards and pasted them with glue and secured them with brown tapes.

I was very excited to have found a new challenge blog created by Yvonne and Angi called Lessology. It focuses on up-cycling and altering anything.I´m the one who loves to do altered  up-cycled projects. My garage,my celler are always full of boxes and cardboards and bottles.
I saved these boxes to transform them in to this beautiful Wall Decor instead of dumping in the Recycle bin My daughter is now so very happy to see this .....that I felt it was worth doing it for her.

I´m submitting this for  Lessology post for a new DT member (read all about it here) with a focus on recycling. They have a wonderful team with all the talented ladies. It would be a great opportunity to work and learn with them. I created this Decor using ONLY cardboards from these boxes and Felt..
So here is my Green project with Less materials.

Challenges: Lessology, Moxi fab Felt challenge.

Blissful moments!!

Hi everyone!!

Today I´m sharing NOT a Card but a Layout. It´s my first layout ever.I know, scrapbooking is not at all my style...it needs lot of patience and time. Few months back I had won Scrapbook album kit, some rub-ons at City Crafter´s challenge and had no clue when to use them. After seeing Melissa´s layering challenge at Yvonne´s blog...I thought of trying them. She wants to see a layout layering atleast three pieces of Patterned Paper which was really a challenge for me.
Added lot of stitching...Patterned Papers are from folia,Rub-ons from Anna Griffin.Felt flowers are self-made.

My daughter Diya loves Ice-skating.This photo  was taken by one of the photographer during her performance in Memmingen Ice Skating Show. My daughter and her friend Max were the youngest and sweetest performers in that show. Her photo was also published here in the local newspaper called "Memminger Zeitung". Their performance was in German traditional cloths. The dress she is wearing is called "Dirndl" (traditional frocks for Girls/ladies).

Hope you like this layered layout.
